    New info - not sure if it helps, but Johnson doesn't crash when running on Passenger.

    So that's just mongrel/rails where it crashes.

    OK - more info

    Tried in Merb (mongrel) - no failure.

    Tried in Rails with Thin backend - no failure.

    so it looks like it's something to do with mongrel on Ra...
